Are you looking for some family fun in Sunderland this Christmas? Look no further!

 

We’ve done the research to make getting out with the family that much easier - especially if you are looking at hiring a car from our Sunderland branch to get your whole family out and about together!

 

Holmside Park (29 minutes drive from VMS Sunderland)

If you are looking for a Christmassy adventure, head on down to Holmside Park as they have an amazing Santa’s Grotto experience on the 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December! Whether you want breakfast with the main man himself, or to visit his grotto, there are ticket options available to suit all budgets.

Hall Hill Farm (43 minutes drive from VMS Sunderland) 

Set in the beautiful rolling hills of County Durham, Hall Hill Farm is an amazing place for family fun in Sunderland. This award winning mixed farm of 290 hectares has lamb feeds, tractor and donkey rides, puppet shows, playbarns, crazy golf and more! With a lovely tea room to fuel you throughout your visit, there is so much to enjoy whilst you are here.

Ocean Beach Pleasure Park (20 minutes drive from VMS Sunderland) 

As the name suggests, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is jammed full of rides and attractions. For thrill seekers, sports lovers and rides for your smallest of family members, there is something for all the family throughout the year. 

Whilst all outdoor rides are closed for the season until February 2019, you can still enjoy Quasar Amusements with Laserforce Games and Laser Maze between Christmas and New Year!

Adventure Valley (30 minutes drive from VMS Sunderland) 

Winter Wonderland is back for 2018 at Adventure Valley between the 24th November to the 24th December. Lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes, you’ll be taken on an enchanted Christmas journey guided by your own personal elf. You'll also meet many other characters along the way! 

Outside of the Christmas offering, you can also enjoy the indoor play town with over 18,000 sq feet of indoor play, filled with slides, tubes, tunnels and scramble nets!

Jump 360 Trampoline Park (27 minutes drive from VMS Sunderland) 

Jump 360 provides an exciting and exhilarating indoor trampoline park, featuring foam pits, traverse climbing wall and of course, many trampolines! Best part, it’s all indoor so heading here between Christmas and New year is a great way to spend time with the family this season!

Tickets vary from general admission, family sessions and birthday parties.
