With the Easter break fast approaching, we thought we’d put a list together of some of the best Easter egg Hunts to drive to near one of our four vehicle hire branches! Perfect for those looking to hire a family vehicle over the break for lots of family adventures! 

Willows Activity Farm (25 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Stevenage) 

This Easter Eggstravaganza runs from Saturday 30th March until Monday 22nd April. They have a range of activities from egg hunts, Easter arts & crafts, Peter Rabbit & Friends shows, Tristan the Runaway Tractor and much more to explore with your family! 

Hertford Easter Animal & Bunny Trail (22 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Stevenage) 

This is a great free event in Hertford Town Centre from the 30th March to the 27th April. There are two trails to enjoy - keep an eye out for knitted bunnies who will be hiding throughout the town including inside shop windows or hunt out chicks and eggs which will be nestled within local shops. Start at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre and grab a map! 

 

Sunderland

Museum and Winter Gardens (11 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Sunderland) 

Taking a twist on the classic Easter Egg, this year at the Museum and Winter Gardens you and your family can take part in a Dinosaur Egg Hunt. Find all the dinosaur eggs hiding in the Museum. Each one helps to crack a master code to win a dinosaur themed prize. 

Entry is £2.50 per child and can be purchased from the museum shop. 

Washington Old Hall (18 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Sunderland) 

If your little ones love Cadburys chocolate, then the Cadbury Easter egg Hunt at Washington Old Hall will be the perfect place to go! Once you’ve been through the trail around the beautiful gardens, why not head to their school room to make colourful Easter crafts that you can take home and enjoy? 

 

Warrington

Delamere Easter Bunny Dash (37 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Warrington) 

Not quite an Easter egg hunt, but why not take part in an Easter Bunny run with the family this year? Run-Dash provides outdoor running events in the Delamere Forest in Cheshire. This 5km family run will have you running through the stunning forest before collecting your well-deserved chocolate egg and medal! Many runners dress up for the occasion. So, don those bunny tails and ears and head up on Friday 19th April. 

Egg-chanted Easter Fun, Tatton Park (28 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Warrington)

Held between Friday 19th April and Monday 22nd April, bring your family along to the fabulous trails in the Mansion, Gardens, Farm and Parkland at Tatton Park. Enjoy a magical Fairy Godmother’s trail, spot mini unicorns, watch magic shows and puppet shows, take part in egg and spoon races and much more before tucking into some Easter treats in the stable yard.

 

Tamworth 

Tamworth Castle Egg Hunt (13 minutes from VMS Vehicle Hire Tamworth) 

Tamworth Castle is a great place to visit and only a stone's throw away from our Tamworth branch. Instead of the traditional Easter egg hunt, this year hunt down the eggs of Ruby, the castle’s Dragon! She has them hidden all across the castle and with the help of a quiz sheet, you may be able to locate where they are to win a prize! Running from the 13th April until the 28th April, you’ll have plenty of time to have an egg-stra special time in Tamworth!
